Driven by a shared set of human values and the pursuit of excellence, Caran d’Ache and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) have signed up to a partnership that breaks new ground in terms of humanitarian work. To mark the 70th anniversary of the Geneva Conventions, Caran d’Ache is releasing a limited edition pen, with profits from sales helping the ICRC in its mission of reuniting families affected by the conflict in Syria.
The fruit of this collaboration is a new limited edition ballpoint pen. Its red metallic body is adorned with a rather hopeful sentiment: ‘The stroke of a pen can be the start of a better future.’ For each pen sold, CHF 15 will go directly to the ICRC to help it reunite victims of the conflict in Syria with their loved ones.
The Geneva-based artist Kalonji, who is a brand ambassador for Caran d’Ache, has also been involved in the project by creating illustrations to promote the limited edition pen.
